Security Line at Newark Airport

So you have your tickets and are headed to your gate when you see the extremely long lines at security. Thinking you are beating the system you step into the shortest line. You are excited and laugh silently at the folks who decide to stand in the longer line because it was a little closer to the entrance of security. Then you notice the women with her 3 kids who got into the longer line after you heading through the metal detector and putting their shoes back on. What!

Word Of Advice: Newark Airport has staggered lines for security and what appears to be the shorter line is short because the actual security checkpoint is farther into the terminal area. The shorter line may actually be the longer line! Choose the security line closest to the entrance to the checkpoint or atleast the middle station. The third line may appear to be shorter but you may see people quickly getting through security in other lines while you stand waiting to even get to your security area.
